Asking clients to connect to a new app especially when it comes to banking data can be a bit tricky.
As such @ Ledgersync we are coming up with technology and best practices to make it easier for your practice to add clients to Ledgersync.
There are four ways to add a client to Ledgersync
Method 1- Send an email or text message to the client via Ledgersync app:
1- Email invitation to client from Ledgersync's system
2- Text Invitation to client from Ledgersync systems
Method 2- Send the client invitation via your email.
By clicking on the Copy Invitation Email Ledgersync will copy the invite with the link to add banks to your local computer clipboard and then you can paste the the email invite text and link to your email, edit as you see fit and send it from your email.
(you can also create a customized email message template that can be used for all clients)
Method 3- Client Mobile App for Google and Apple Users
You can customize the client facing mobile app with your:
- Avatar ( or owner picture)
- Customized welcome message
- Company logo
Your client will login into mobile app using their phone number and will have 2 options
1- Add bank
2- Fix bank
Method 4- Send a text message notification with a specific set of banks
Once a client has been added to Ledgersync you can ask or remind the client to add specific bank
1 - Click on Client Actions at the top
2- Select Communication Center tab
3- Select Reconnect and Add New Banks Invitation.
4- Follow the wizard to connect a client and specific bank.

Fixing A Broken Bank Using Accountant Email Domain:
In addition if you want your client to fix a bank and the only way they will do this is via an email from you, there is an option to Generate Bank Fix URL and send the link directly via your email . The link will take your client directly to the Bank where they will be prompted to fix the broken bank connection.
