LedgerSync keeps your statements, transactions, and check images syncing automatically to your connected cloud storage account (Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, SharePoint, or SmartVault). We're rolling out connection health alerts so you can see right away if a sync needs your attention, instead of finding out only when a file is missing.
Most sync issues are not about your login — they're about the destination. The most common cause is that the folder LedgerSync is trying to save files to is no longer reachable, usually because it was:
In these cases, your account credentials still work, so nothing looks broken on the surface — but new files can't be delivered.
When LedgerSync detects a sync failure that needs your action, the Cloud Storage page will show:
A failed sync does not disconnect your account or clear your saved folder mapping. Your setup stays exactly as you configured it — you'll just see a warning so you know to check it. This means you'll never have to redo your cloud storage setup because of a temporary sync issue.
