How Accounting Firms Can Edit Client Data in LedgerSync
Purpose: This guide shows Accounting Firm and Customer accounts how to edit a client’s information in LedgerSync, such as their name, email, phone number, and the employee or firm the client is assigned to.
Important: Only Accounting Firm / Customer accounts can edit a client’s information.
Getting Started
- Log in to your LedgerSync account.
- Go to Client Actions → Client List.
- Search for the client name you want to update.
On the far right of that client’s row, click Edit.

A pop-up will appear with the client’s editable fields. Update the details you need — such as the client’s name, email, phone number, and the employee or firm the client is assigned to.

- When your changes look correct, click Save to update the client’s information.
