Signed Up My Client But They Are Not Adding In Their Bank Connections?

Overview

Getting clients to connect their banks is one of the most common challenges when onboarding to LedgerSync. Here are four proven tips to improve your success rate.

1. Let the Client Know in Advance

Clients who receive an unexpected invitation from an unfamiliar sender will almost always ignore or delete it. Before sending anything, tell your client to expect an SMS or email from LedgerSync asking them to connect their bank accounts. A quick heads-up dramatically improves response rates.

2. Address Security Concerns Upfront

Some clients worry about the security of sharing bank access. You can share LedgerSync's security overview with them directly:

3. Turn On the Client Reminder

LedgerSync has a built-in reminder feature that automatically sends an SMS to your client every 3 days until they connect at least one bank. To enable it:

  1. Go to the Client Management page.
  2. Find the client and click to open their settings.
  3. Toggle on Client Reminder.

The reminder turns off automatically once a bank is connected. You can toggle it on or off at any time from the client level.

4. Re-Invite Manually

If a client still hasn't connected, you can send a fresh invitation at any time:

  1. On the client list, click Invite next to the client's name.
  2. Choose SMS, Email, or both.

5. Send- Auto Reminders
