Selecting What Data to Extract on a Premium Bank Connection
Purpose: This guide shows you how to choose which data — statements, checks, or both — LedgerSync extracts from a Premium Bank Connection, and how to refresh the data once you’ve made your selection.
Getting Started
- Log in to your LedgerSync account.
Connect to the LedgerSync Desktop App (LSDA).
- In the right-hand panel, navigate to the client you want to pull data for.
- Click the Premium Bank Connection you want to extract data from.
You’ll automatically land on the Summary page for that bank connection.

On the top bar of the Summary page you’ll see two options:
Statements and
Checks. Whichever option is checked determines the data that pulls in — if both are checked, both statements and checks will pull in.

Note: The more data you select to pull in, the longer the bank data will take to extract.
Once you’ve confirmed the data you want pulled into LedgerSync, click the Refresh Data button.
Note: While refreshing, you may be prompted for an MFA token code. Whether MFA is still required is determined by the bank.
Troubleshooting
If you receive an error such as “data extraction error” or “unknown layout”, follow this guide: How to Report a Bank Connection Bug in LedgerSync.
If the error mentions credentials or an invalid MFA, please confirm your login credentials are correct and that the MFA token code is being entered correctly before trying again.
