LedgerSync uses the official QuickBooks Desktop SDK, which is designed to communicate directly with a QuickBooks Desktop environment. Because of this, LedgerSync must be installed in the same environment where QuickBooks Desktop is running.
If you are using a hosted QuickBooks Desktop environment such as Remote Desktop or RightWorks, the following is required:
The LedgerSync QuickBooks Desktop application must be installed directly in the hosted QuickBooks Desktop environment.
The QuickBooks Desktop SDK must also be installed in that same hosted environment.
A user with administrator rights must install both:
The LedgerSync QuickBooks Desktop application
The QuickBooks Desktop SDK
To Download the Ledgersync QuickBooks Desktop App and install it, someone from IT OR RightWorks needs to click here and download: https://ledgersyncappv2.com/services/api/quickbooks-desktop/installer/download
This ensures LedgerSync can properly and securely communicate with QuickBooks Desktop.
Please ensure that the LedgerSync QuickBooks Desktop application and the QuickBooks Desktop SDK are installed on the same machine where QuickBooks Desktop is installed.
