Text or Email Clients to Describe Bank/Credit Card Transactions

Easily Categorize Transactions with Ledgersync

Struggling with Uncategorized Transactions?

If you've ever encountered transactions that you don't recognize, you know how challenging it can be to categorize them. So, how do you handle them?

The Old Way

Traditionally, accountants and bookkeepers had to:

  • Download transactions from QBO, QB Desktop, Xero, etc., into Excel.

  • Send the spreadsheet to the client or call them.

  • Go through each transaction manually, one by one.

This process is time-consuming and inefficient.

The New Way: Ledgersync’s "What Is This Txs" Feature

With Ledgersync, you can be smarter about your time.

  1. While reviewing transactions, select the ones you need clarification on by checking the box in the transactions tab.

  2. Click the "What is this txs" button.

  3. A text message and/or email is automatically sent to the client (using the contact details stored in the Client Management Section).

  4. The client receives a link via email and phone, allowing them to review and update the transaction details from their device.

  5. Once updated, the transaction details appear on the Transactions page.

  6. Updated transactions will be highlighted in black, and you can easily filter them using the filter button on the right side.

Save Time and Eliminate Unnecessary Calls

This feature significantly reduces manual work and the need for lengthy client calls, allowing you to focus on more important tasks. With Ledgersync, transaction categorization is now faster and more efficient than ever.
