Overview

This article explains how to send bank connection invitations to clients via email when you need them to add a new bank account to Ledgersync.

Important Note

The Communication Center's "Reconnect and Add New Banks Invitation" feature currently only supports SMS/text message delivery for sending targeted, specific bank invitations. It does not offer an email option for this specific feature.

To send a bank connection invitation via email, you must use the general "Add Bank" invitation method through the Client List.


How to Send Bank Connection Invitation via Email

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Navigate to Client Actions

    • Click on "Client Actions" in the top navigation
    • Select the "Client List" tab
  2. Select Your Client

    • Locate the client who needs to add a new bank account
    • Locate the Invite Button to the right of that client
  3. Send the Invitation

    • Click the "Invite" button
    • Select "By Email" as the delivery method
  4. Client Receives Email

    • The client will receive an email with an "Add Bank Connection" button
    • Clicking the button will take them through a step-by-step wizard to connect their bank




When to Use Each Method

  • Use Communication Center (SMS): When you know the exact bank the client needs to add and prefer to send them directly to that specific bank's connection page
  • Use Client List (Email): When you want to send an email invitation and let the client select which bank to add through the wizar
